Aftersales Technician

You probably already have many products at home that were created using a Ferlin machine. A crate of beer, the lid of a peanut butter jar, or perhaps the garbage bag. At Ferlin, we believe in a beautiful and sustainable future for plastics. That’s why our vision is "Improving Plastics Together."

Do you have a passion for aftersales and are you interested in technology? Then come and meet us!

What you will do

Together with your team, which consists of an Aftersales Technician and an Aftersales Mechanic, you will ensure that Ferlin products are repaired (at the customer's location). Aftersales forms the bridge between Ferlin and the customer.

Additionally, you will:

  • Handle malfunctions for customers both on-site and via phone and email.
  • Repair and check Ferlin machines, manage returns, and determine warranties.
  • Manage the aftersales mailbox.
  • Support the Aftersales Mechanic with his tasks and take over where necessary.

We will teach you our own inspection method: the Ferlin Inspection Program (FIP). You will conduct FIP inspections both from the office and at the customer’s location, but you will also look beyond that! Where possible, you take a commercial approach with the goal of promoting and selling Ferlin products.

Who we are

Plastic is a valuable raw material, but it is essential to handle it responsibly to minimize its environmental impact. Companies need to work more efficiently and smartly with raw materials, and that’s exactly what we at Ferlin excel at! For the production of plastic products, precise and reliable dosing and transport machines are indispensable. Ferlin develops and manufactures these machines, which stand out for their reliability, precision, and user-friendliness.

Ferlin is also known for its open culture, where there is plenty of room to share and implement innovative ideas! Our vision, "Improving Plastics Together," is at the core of everything we do, and our values—Collaboration, Trust, Fun, and Learning—are essential in this.

Who you are

  • Vocational education at working and thinking level 2, preferably in the technical field.
  • At least 1 year of work experience as a service technician, preferably in a technical industry.
  • A relaxed attitude when multiple customers ask something of you at the same time.
  • The ability to understand a customer and translate that into what they need.
  • A B driver's license.

What we offer

  • A 40-hour workweek.
  • A competitive salary based on your work experience.
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract with good performance.
  • A driven team in a fast-growing organization.
  • Opportunities for training and development.
  • Fun company events.
  • Access to a service car together with the Aftersales team.

Why work at Ferlin?
